Q: How much do you charge?
Pricing depends on the type of alteration or repair and the time required. you can view our general price list here and We provide an estimate after evaluating the garment in person.
Q: Where are your repair and tailoring services available?
We are based in South Florida, our Home Studio is in Hallandale beach but we also have different meeting points on certain days of the week in Miami as well as mobile tailoring services. We have a Ship in Repair service so you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home or located out of state. Inquire
Q: How do I book a repair or alteration?
you can book an appointment if you’re in South Florida or make an inquiry right through website or email info@vaedva.com for any questions.
Q: What kinds of repairs do you offer?
We repair tears, broken seams, missing buttons, damaged zippers, patching, reinforcing on all clothing items and we specialize in Denim Repairs. We do not offer bag or shoe repairs.
Q: What is your Turnaround Time?
Turnaround varies by service, but standard alterations range from 5–10 days. Rush options are available. Shipped in Repairs and alterations can take up to 3 weeks.
Q: Can all garments be repaired, altered or Up-cycled?
We try our best to come up with solutions to meet your needs and give the item as many chances as possible. We assess each piece individually. If a repair isn’t possible, we’ll offer alternative solutions or creative upcycling options.
Q: Do you Offer mobile Tailoring?
Yes, we offer Mobile alterations in Broward and Miami Dade County for a rate starting at $25 for pick up and drop off.
Q: Do you do Production Tailoring?
Yes, if you wish to book us to be an on set tailor at your production please email info@vaedva.com for rates.
Digital Sewing Patterns
Q: How do I receive my digital sewing pattern after purchase?
Once your order is complete, you’ll receive a download link directly to your email. All patterns come as PDF files ready to print at home or a copy shop.
Q: Do your patterns come with instructions?
Yes! Each pattern includes a detailed instruction booklet and is often paired with a sewing tutorial on our YouTube channel. Perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike.
Q: What sizes do your patterns include?
All of our patterns are inclusive and range from XS to 4XL. Please check each product listing for specific sizing details.
Orders & Customer Service
Q: When will I hear back after contacting you?
We respond to all emails within 1–3 business days, Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM EST.
Q: Can I make changes to my order after it’s placed?
If you need to make a change tp your alteration. repair or appointment, contact us as soon as possible. For digital items, changes may not be possible once the file has been delivered.
Q: What if my garment doesn’t fit after the alteration?
We offer a satisfaction guarantee. If something doesn’t fit as expected, bring it back for an adjustment.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled up to 24 hours in advance.
